Hello my dear people !

If you still feel like you don't know me I am Ike. OK, OK it's not my real name it's my nickname. My real name is FOUR SEASONS IDEAL IDOL IKE. Bloody long name, huh? That's the reason everyone calls me Ike, it sounds so cool and it's easier to pronounce too.
By the way I'm American Cocker Spaniel. We belong to the 8th group according to FCI standards. I really don't know what that means, but it sounds like a really important piece of information (fact). What is important for me is that I am fowler although lots of people think that I am some sort of decorative dog, but that's their problem!

I was born in Hungary 20/12/2001. I have few brothers and sisters, but I was the only one with the chocolate color hair, which is rarity in my breed. That's because I am the same color as my mom and my dad, but I'll tell you all about them later.
Breeding place where I was born is called "Four Seasons". They have lots and lots of Spaniels, big ones, little ones and different colored ones. Unfortunately we didn't hang out together a lot, as every one of us was trying to eat as much as possible and later have siesta. I was the champion, so I was the biggest and the strongest amongst us :)

As a baby I've spent the hardest three months of my life in Hungary. Everyday someone used to come to check my ears, nouse, give me vaccinations, tattoo me and only god knows what else!!! As you can see I managed to survive and to say that it was easy I would be lying to myself.
I can tell you that even up to today I haven't forgotten how they took pictures of me every day and forced me to stand in some really "important" (read uncomfortable) position : Imagine someone holding you by your tail and by your neck.
It was pleasure and a half (NOT)! They say it's the pose for exhibitions, although when I think about it now - it was invented to attract the best owner:)

As I mentioned I'm a good doggy and I do not want to be rude, so I'm gonna tell you about some very interesting and important things that happened while I was in Hungary. There was one very nice lady - Orsolya Vig. She owned the place where I was born. I loved her the most.
On some occasions, when she had time to spare she used to take me in her arms, stroke me and she talked to me, even though I didn't understand the word she said.

One day, I guess I was around 3 months old, she told me that I was sold!? How disappointed I was! They still sell us even in 21st century without our consent! Horror! Anyway I couldn't do anything about it. All that was left for me to do was to take my scariest pose and to scare that slave buyer off.
I stood there scared, as stiff as a doornail, trying to growl, but no sound came out :( I couldn't bare my teeth, because I didn't have any at that time, but I still thought I looked scary.
Not only I didn't scare them, my whole act got them soppy so they started stroking, hugging and kissing me! Yuck!!!! They got me in their car, drove for miles on end only to reach my new home.

The time goes by so fast. It's good that creating my web site gave me the opportunity to remind my self of those days. Come to think about it - it wasn't all that bad, actually it was good!
Every doggy needs to remember his / hers childhood.

I'll always remember those 4 months in Hungary :)

Hey!!! Where do you think you're going ?
There's plenty more in other sections :)
